Sandy is the founder of Boag Financial. Sandy has over 15 years experience in the finance industry managing assets for both private clients and institutions. Sandy spent six years with Deutsche Bank in Melbourne and Singapore where he ran a number of global portfolios for clients within the Private Banking division covering equities, fixed income and currencies, and emerging market bonds. Sandy has also worked as an equity trader with Goldman Sachs JBWere, and was a senior client adviser at Carnbrea & Co Ltd where he managed Australian and global equities portfolios for high net worth individuals, family groups and charitable foundations. Sandy is the Portfolio Manager and, along with the Investment Management Team, is responsible for the day to day research and analysis of the investments that are recommended for client portfolios.

Sandy has a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University, an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.

Under Gary’s portfolio management, AMP Capital’s single largest portfolio, the $9 billion flagship AMP Balanced Growth Option, achieved top decile performance in its category of the Morningstar Survey.

Prior to joining AMP Capital, Gary spent 6 years as the Head of Investment Management Australia/NZ at Mercer, where he was Business Leader for the $18 billion multi-manager investment business.

Gary prior roles included four years as Investment Director at Deutsche Funds Management, after which time he joined Zurich Scudder Australia as Chief Investment Officer. Gary commenced his portfolio management career in 1990 at Rothschild Australia where he spent eight years culminating in his appointment to the position of Head of Portfolio Management, responsible for the management of diversified portfolios. Prior to this, Gary was the Victorian State Manager for ASSIRT Investment Research. Gary holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and is a Fellow of FINSIA.

Rick has worked in the funds management industry for over 25 years at Macquarie Bank, Rothschild, Portfolio Partners and Warakirri. His experience and expertise is in business development, investor relations and business management. He currently owns and operates Bridgeview Capital with Bob Rowett which is a successful business specialising in Institutional business development and investor relations for specialist fund managers.

Bob has been in the funds management industry for over 30 years with his last 2 roles being at Portfolio Partners as Director of Operations and Warakirri Asset Management as Manager – Projects. He has strong experience in the legal and tax, risk management, compliance, product development and client administration aspects of the industry. Bob is currently an owner and director of Bridgeview Capital and has a number of other private interests.

Mark has over 12 years of experience in the financial services sector. His most recent role was as an Associate Director with FIIG Securities where he specialised in the fixed income asset class dealing in the OTC wholesale bond market. Mark was part of the Private Client team advising high net worth individuals on their fixed income portfolios. Prior to this, Mark was an Associate Director with UBS Wealth Management in Melbourne where he provided personal investment advice to high net worth individuals on a range of wealth management strategies and products. Previously, Mark spent 4 years working in London for ABN Amro Private Bank on a dealing desk executing trades in equities, fixed income & foreign currency for high net worth individuals.

Mark has a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne and has recently completed a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning). Mark is authorised to provide advice in Financial Planning, Managed Investments, Superannuation, Derivatives and Securities.

Ben has over 20 years of financial markets experience advising both retail & institutional investors. Starting his career at Prudential Bache Securities as a retail adviser, he learned the importance of being a trusted adviser from both clients and colleagues alike. Subsequently he transitioned to the institutional broking arena delivering execution services for US & domestic institutions. Ben moved to New York for almost 8 years where, at both JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley, he was a relationship manager covering Asia Pacific investment markets advising on equity, derivative, capital market and leverage products. Ben joined EL&C Baillieu upon returning to Australia as Head of Institutional Equities & subsequently Head of Research. He then helped build a global data driven research firm called QMG Pty Ltd which focused on 9 global markets including the US, UK & Japan. Using this diverse global background Ben will deliver insight and execution capabilities across multiple asset classes to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients.

Ben has a Bachelor degree from Monash University majoring in both Japanese & Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Prior to joining Boag Financial, George spent over 6 years with Westpac, managing assets for families and retired individuals, entrepreneurs and senior executives. The main areas of focus were equities, fixed income and alternatives. Prior to Westpac, George was the National Distribution Manager at a boutique asset manager, Fisher Graham Financial, which specialized in Australian and International equities, managing key relationships with large dealer groups as well as private clients. At Boag Financial, along with the Investment Management Team, George is responsible for the day to day research and analysis of the investments that are recommended for client portfolios.

Anthony has over 30 years experience in financial markets, gained at JBWere where he worked as a Director in the Wealth Management Division.

A large part of his experience has been focussed on Fixed Income markets where he spent over 10 years advising clients on a range of different securities, while expanding and managing the fixed income secondary market within JBWere.  Aside from working with clients, he also traded fixed income securities on behalf of the firm and was a member of the JBWere Credit Risk Committee.

Anthony moved from the fixed income desk to concentrate on developing his skills for clients in a more diversified investment offering. He has indepth knowledge of all asset classes and manages client’s wealth with a proactive mindset.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) from RMIT University and is an accredited Level 1 and Level 2 Derivatives Adviser.

Adrian’s investment management experience as well as intricate financial planning skills aid our clients in building and protecting wealth effectively. He is focused on delivering high quality investment outcomes for private clients and family groups across domestic and international markets. Adrian is also responsible for the day to day research and analysis of the investments that are recommended for client portfolios.

Adrian holds a Bachelor of Finance from La Trobe University with a major in financial planning. Outside of Boag Financial, Adrian is a keen runner and can often be spotted running around Melbourne’s Botanical Gardens.
