About

Boag Financial
Boag Financial was founded by bringing together a team of experienced professionals from asset management, wealth management and broking backgrounds to form a boutique private asset management organisation.

Our background and experience obtained in a family office environment has had a major influence on our investment philosophy, and the service we provide to our clients.

The firm is a partnership in philosophy and structure. It is 100% owned by the founders and key people, and is focused on the highest level of service and investment outcomes for our clients.

Boag Financial provides private wealth management solutions to individuals, family groups, and charitable organisations.

Boag Financial is privately owned and operated. Our service is personal, attentive and transparent. To be an effective partner in your wealth management it is essential we develop a complete understanding of your circumstances including your current situation, your family, your aspirations and requirements for the future, and your approach to risk. With this understanding we can then grow your wealth in a manner consistent with your needs and constraints.

Diligence and rigour are paramount to our research and investment process. We take a patient approach to investing and concentrate on assets that we believe can deliver superior returns over the medium to longer term.

At Boag Financial we believe in transparency – all investments will be directly held in your name, and we will manage your entire portfolio including all administration and reporting.

Philosophy
Boag Financial seeks to manage complexity in financial markets through analysis and understanding of the underlying  drivers of asset returns.

We combine observation and insight with a trusted methodology to effectively grow your wealth whilst minimising risk, affording you ultimate peace of mind.

Boag Financial’s investment approach is guided by four fundamental beliefs:

  • Portfolio construction is fundamental to preserving and growing wealth through the cycle.
  • Markets are not perfectly efficient and the true value of an asset is not always reflected in its price.
  • Undervalued assets can be identified through detailed and intensive research.
  • Risk management is the key role of the asset manager.

By applying these beliefs at every stage of the investment process we aim to generate superior returns, whilst maintaining a level of risk suitable to your circumstances and preferences.
